‘Sicilian Seafood Cooking’ book launch

Marisa Raniolo Wilkins officially released her first book, ‘Sicilian Seafood Cooking’ at a book launch at Melbourne’s Co.As.It (the Italian Historical Society and Museo Italiano) on Sunday, November 6.

A member of the recently formed Sicilian Association, Marisa is best known for her blog on Sicilian food, ‘All Things Sicilian and More.’

The event was opened by Co-ordinator of Museo Italiano, Carlo Carli, and the book was officially launched by author and journalist, Richard Cornish.

Marisa, who spent her early childhood in Trieste before moving to Australia with her Sicilian parents, has maintained a close connection with Sicily throughout her life. Her book includes 120 traditional recipes that have been collected during her travels to Sicily.
