South Australia’s cream of the crop

Bringing together 180 producers from all over South Australia, Cellar Door Fest will make its return from 24-26 February 2017 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the producers and taste the wares of some of South Australia’s top wineries, including over 20 new wineries from 15 regions across the state. They will be joined by an exciting range of local brewers, distillers and food producers.

The 2017 program will include a range of Long Table experiences, which for the first time will pair acclaimed local restaurants with wineries. Together with exceptional food and wine, each of these Long Table events will also feature a selection of award-winning cheeses.

Also new to this year’s offering is ‘Flavours of the Fest’, a free, live cooking demonstration stage that allows visitors to learn and interact with the food producers and taste their recipes; and ‘Meet the Maker Sessions’, which allow those in attendance to hear the secrets of a range of producers who will share their knowledge and offer insight into their products.

The popular masterclasses will make a return for 2017. Among this year’s offering are a vertical cheese and wine tasting experience, a lesson in matching the right glassware to your favourite drop, a horizontal cheese and wine tasting, a cooking with cheese experience, and a dessert and wine matching session.
