About

Italianicious is a cultural love affair, aiming to bring the love of all things Italian to as wide an audience as possible. It is embraced by both those with an Italian heritage and a wide range of others with a passionate interest.

Whether we are delving into the traditions of food and wine, the arts, distinctive and cutting edge style, visiting the unique and iconic locations that Italy has to offer or celebrating the successes of the business and commerce sector; our aim is to educate, entertain and enlighten our readers.

History

Italianicious was acquired by Prime Creative Media in April 2010, having already spent five years in the marketplace as a quarterly magazine. It was re-launched by Prime Creative Media as a new look bi-monthly publication.

Italianicious is a cultural love affair, aiming to bring the love of all things Italian to as wide an audience as possible. Italians or those of Italian heritage form one of the largest and most influential ethnic groups in Australia. Their contribution to food, art, culture, lifestyle, commerce and design is a rich feast that Australians in general have embraced. By showcasing the very best of what is on offer from this sector in a publication dedicated to making all things Italian easily accessible, the contribution to our culture and economy can only grow.

It is embraced by both those with an Italian heritage and a wide range of others with a passionate interest. Much of that interest has revolved around the cuisine that is such an integral and admired factor both in our own kitchens and the general food and dining scene. While it is a central part of how Italians express their love of culture and family, the team at Italianicious places cuisine back into an educational context, whereby the reader learns as they enjoy the journey. In this way, we build our readers a reference library that serves them well today, but also stands alone for future generations. We don’t separate food from its traditions, history, places of origin or from the people who work tirelessly to preserve these elements.

Editorial takes a wider and more profound approach to the subject than merely what we can put on our tables or what is on offer in the usual food-oriented publications.
